What ?
Explore the depths of KALIURANG tropical rain forest. A 5-hours return walk through the rain forest, through valley, gorge and river enroute to the slopes of Mount Merapi. We could see tropical forest and many villages at the foot of Merapi, which was destroyed by the pyroclastic flows from Mt. Merapi.
The place (Pronojiwo Hill) approximately 1200 Meters on Sea Level. Now, Mt. Merapi is on normal activities, so we can go to Merapi, but not too close (+ 3,5 Km from the summit of Mt. Merapi)
